A national eco-living expert and environmental advocate, Laura Turner Seydel travels across the country speaking to groups about ways to live an eco-friendly lifestyle at work, home, school – even on vacation! From large conference keynotes to small garden club groups, Laura energizes the crowd with her funny stories and easy-to-follow eco-living tips. Laura’s mission is to educate families, youth, businesses and individuals alike about the opportunities and benefits of earth-friendly living.

Laura developed her passion for protecting the environment at an early age. As daughter of CNN founder and philanthropist Ted Turner, she saw firsthand how ecologically devastated many areas of the world are. Rather than leave it to others to address the problem, Laura grew up taking an active role in eco-issues from leading environmental voting initiatives to finding new ways to protect our nation’s drinking water.

It’s no surprise that environmental philanthropy is a priority for Laura. From simple measures such as teaching Girl Scout Troops composting techniques to creating a number of environmental non-profit organizations, Laura serves as an inspiration to others wondering how we can make a difference.
